To be blunt, the fastest way to build links is to buy them. Hands down. That said, you have to be smart about it. If you start buying a ton of links from the same source or of the same type, I guarantee you Google will figure out what you’re doing and your website will wind up in the sarch engine dungeon.
So the first thing you need to figure out is ‘what is my marketing budget.’ If you say I want all free links, you’re never going to make any money on the internet, so you might as well fold up your tent right now. You have to spend money to make money.

One of the big mistakes amateurs make in link building campaigns is only targeting keywords that they think will bring sales to their website. Don’t get me wrong. We all start out targeting specific keyword phrases that our research tells us are a good combination of high search numbers and low competition. But after a few months, that may need to change.
If you are using a good analytics program on your website, it should break out by the page which search terms people are actually using to find each of your website pages. Rarely does this exactly match the keyword phrases you’ve optimized your website for and are targeting in your link building campaign.

Okay, maybe I’m being a little facetious here, but it really isn’t far from the truth. Linkbuilding is either going to cost you time or money. No one gets backlinks for free regardless of the BS the “gurus” are putting out (just before they sell you their $2,000 package “deal”).
Yes, I know, you’ve probably read articles on how to get free backlinks and maybe some of you were hoping you’d get some of that advice in this article. Instead, I’m going to give you the cold, hard truth. You’re either going to have to invest a lot of your time building backlinks, hire someone else to build backlinks, or use a service or automated software to build backlinks.
