IBP 11.5 SEO Software Review
IBP 11.5 SEO software review must start with the statement “This software is one of the grandaddy’s of search engine optimization software packages.” It has been around for a lot of years. Hence, the current 11.5 iteration. And they have a nifty free 160 page search engine optimization ebook.
As with many SEO software packages, it has been updated and freshened on a regular basis and IBP 11.5 is the latest iteration.

The correct Seo tools are important,quality content may even be more important,the internet is about relevance,when you help people solve problems,example how to buy the best sun glasses for less money,if your saying something that has value the seo is done just put your content out there optimize for the keywords and the rest will take care of it self.Kinda like what your doing on this web site great info,do a few videos on how to do something or how to prevent something and your site will rock,which it does already…

IBP is a great bit of kit for analysing your historical seo progress, but does nothing to your actual rankings. The link building tab leaves most of the work up to you. Then you can either use a tool like Ignite SEO to build the links automatically, or find some good footprints and do it yourself.

Hi Bob, I am interested in answerds to Sam’s questions, above, which are very important.
People selling go on about how web dropship retailing or affiliate marketing can be somewhere between nearly total “auto-pilot” and only hours of work per week.
However, taking Sam’s example (and I suppose he’s right – to benefit it’s best to make multiple sites), one would have to (e.g. aff. marketing):
make the sites (with names & hosting),
keep them up to date,
answer messages (and make a lot of enquiries),
a few times a week check details of what you are marketing,
check the merchandise competition,
check the referral competition in marketing & develop,
check your various affiliate agencies for results and income and requirements,
if you are using codes or offers – keep them up to date as well as seach info. about them,
make, check and check accounts for your own advertising
be improving revenue from your sites in various ways,
AND THEN
of course, you’re getting nowhere without being visible in the search sites.
So, it’s really big to know that you can handle an SEO program without much difficulty and it won’t take a lot of time. To hear that this program is big with Caterpillar, Canon, Ebay etc. has one think that they must have full time professionals spending significant times each day with the SEO by this way.
Take a small brick and mortar shop, to make it an online shop also is to greatly increase the time resources of the owner – manager. For many small shops it can mean an expensive agency, or at least a new part time or full time job for someone, at least for a few months in the start-up, maybe permanent.
If an SEO program is really hard work to have it work as it should best, then the SEO companies charging much more are likely to be very worth it if you can pay it.
I suppose that with IBP (and other programs) there are exact steps to follow in order that you gain the Top 10 Google placings which fall under the money back guarantee. And do these involve 2 to 3 hours a day at SEO in the program? (After a few weeks or more of 7 hours a day slogging at all the above, getting anything online including start up SEO with a software program).
3 hours a week on an SEO program week to get top results may be expected, but if it’s closer to 3 hours a day, then, OK the results may come, but you’re using wages time / or actually paying someone else’s wages.
Here I’m thinking of sole enterprises. Sam’s questions are important for sole enterprises. For people working solo, just the very first step in the list I gave above can take months of hours a day, even full time terms on making websites and publishing alone.

I don’t know how HTML or any other programing language. I want to set up a lot of word press based web sites and use IBP11 to get then to the top page of Google. Will IBP11 let me get thee word press sites to the top Google with out difficulty? I will have several web pages per site. I will want the key words on each page to make it to the top of Google. Will IBP11 let me do that? What can I expect from IBP11? Will it get just one page get to the top or will it help me get all the pages in the site, using several key words or just a key word from the site overall? How well can I target a key word or words with IBP11? I saw that IBP111 says:
” If you work with a CSM (content management system) such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, etc.) then you cannot edit your web pages with IBP’s website optimization editor.< What does that mean? ) You can use your regular page editing tool to change your web pages according to� the recommendations of IBP's Top 10 Optimizer. < DO I edit the site in html or just use my regular text in the page boxes?
As long as you can edit the HTML code of your web pages, you can work with IBP."< DO I edit the word press in html?
I have never used IBP11 with wp. I see plug in's to use for seo in wp for around 30.00 to 50.00. I think IBP11 may do a better job, but How difficult will it be? Will IBP11 build back links for the WP sites?

I really hope you are right about this software. I need some help with SEO for my direct mail business, especially the link building part, but spending $500 for software is pricey, especially if it turns out to not do what it says it will do.

@Gerald – I wasn’t paid for the review. The guy who has those three websites I mention in the reviews dominated his niche using IBP. He’s #1 in Google for several prescription sunglass keyword phrases and I know for a fact he did it with IBP. He asked me to recommend another SEO tool because he wanted to get into linkbuilding and IBP isn’t really good for that so I told him to use Lotus Jump.
I’ve never heard of Hello Engines but I use WebCEO and reviewed it on this site. It’s an excellent SEO software. However, so is Raven SEO Tools and the others I review on this site. Web Position is another excellent tool although I haven’t reviewed it.

Are you seriously recommending IBP? How much did they payed you for this “review”? I tried many SEO tools in the past years. IBP is no SEO tool, it is scam.
Currently there are exactly 2 serious SEO tools available:
1) webceo and 2) hello engines
and one third, which is AWS (for ranking queries).

Sorry James. IBP doesn’t have that capability. However, you can edit the report after it’s generated. I do this for some clients by generating the report in HTML and then editing it in Dreamweaver and converting it to a PDF.
Another option is generating the report in Word and then copying and pasting the parts of the report they want and then converting it to a PDF and sending it to the client.
I know this is a bit of a pain but at least it gives you the opportunity to edit the reports. Some SEO software only generates reports in un-editable forms. You’re just stuck with what they create. Hope this helps.
