Raven SEO Tools Review

I wasn’t going to do a Raven SEO Tools review for the simple reason that I don’t own it. However, most good SEOs know each other. And a highly respected local SEO told me that she signed up for the Raven SEO Tools 30 Day Free Trial and after just three days of using it, she went to the site and bought the software. She said if nothing else, it had the best link tools she’d ever used.

That told me that this must be some special SEO software to sell an experienced SEO expert that fast. So I interviewed her to find out why Raven SEO Tools sold her so fast. Here’s essentially what she told me.

Features of Raven SEO Tools…

Raven SEO tools actually has 17 different features or tools in it’s arsenal. And I don’t think arsenal is too strong a word because this thing does everything. Now I know a lot of SEOs brag that they don’t use tools or they only use a few simple toolbar tools. That’s a crock.

Either they don’t know enough about SEO to know the tools they should be using or they are flat out lying. (Or they are billing the heck out of their clients for work that could be automated.) Without using some automated tools, SEO takes way too long. You’d never make any money.

So let’s list the 17 tools and then cover some of her favorites.

This is a great tool because it lets you search for competitor’s keywords plus check PPC ads for keywords. You can analyze your competitors or simply search for keywords and related keywords. You get a lot of tools, reports and information in this one tool.

Competitor Manager

She loves this tool. You want to know up to the minute what all your competitor’s or your client’s competitors are doing. This tool gives you that ability.

All she has to do is add competitors to the SERP Tracker and it gives her their key metrics, their pagerank, how many pages and links they have in Google.

Link Manager for Link Building

Let’s face it. While it’s very important to make sure your content is siloed correctly, your meta tags are right, and the design is search engine-friendly, it’s the link building that’s going to drive targeted traffic to your website. Here’s a look at the link manager…

With link building, it’s all about efficiency because this is a real “time suck.” Raven lets you create autofill records to fill in link data for you.

What’s more, it monitors all your active links and lets you know if a “no-follow” tag was added, the anchor text was changed, or worse, the link was removed. Is that cool or what? She hasn’t found another tool that does all that for her.

To be honest, she told me that when she got the free 30 day trial, it was just to “peek under the hood.” She already had two SEO tools and wasn’t planning on buying another one. Then she started playing around with this link-building tool and just went to the site and bought it.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention. You can import links from other third party software. So any links you’ve created with other software, Raven will take over monitoring them too. That was the final blow that sold her. She was concerned that she’d have to keep all three software packages to keep monitoring all the links she’d created for different clients (and her own websites.) Nope. She does it all with Raven SEO Tools now.

Let’s look at another tool that sold her on the software…

FireFox Toolbar

I use Firefox for all my SEO work. It’s so loaded down with toolbars that I can’t use it for my own search because it takes so long to load. So I use Google’s Chrome and Microsoft’s Bing.

So when she told me about the Firefox toolbar, it was like, “Oh great. Another freaking toolbar in my Firefox.” Then I saw that this toolbar would replace most of my Firefox toolbars. Pretty cool. Here’s a look:

Essentially, the toolbar gives you access to all your favorite tools in Raven SEO Tools without having to open the software every time you want to do SEO work. You can use it to analyze competitor’s websites or your own websites for weaknesses. You can log in to your social media sites using a choice of personas (extremely cool) or create links using the “auto fill” option for rapid “hit & run” link building action. Lastly, it lets you switch to different websites quick and easy.

Why haven’t I bought Raven SEO Tools?

I know, the question begs itself, why haven’t I bought Raven SEO Tools? To be honest, at the time I’m writing this, I’m playing around with the free 30 day trial. I already have four SEO software packages. I just wish I’d found this one before I spent all that money on the other tools. I have a bad feeling I’m going to have a fifth tool. At least with Raven, I can pretty much delete the others…check out the video then grab the free 30 day trial…
