Unique Article Wizard Article Review – Part of your backlink strategy?

Unique Article Wizard reviews aren’t as common as I expected. Especially since UAW has been around since 2006. It’s obviously the most popular artcle marketing tool, but is it the best?

Let’s have a look…

Unique Article Wizard is an article submission service and there are several other article submission services out there including AMA and SEO Linkvine. I regularly use SEO Linkvine to spread my unique articles as part of my backlinking stragegy.

But as an SEO consultant, I know better than to rely on just one source of links.

What I like about UAW…

One of the best things about Unique Article Wizard is that it uses a mix of article directories and blogs to place your unique articles on. So right there, you’re diversifying your link sources.

I also like the fact that because UAW has been around so long. It has well over 10,000 article directories and blogs in its arsenal. This means that regardless of the product or service you are promoting, Unique Article Wizard will have blogs and article direcotries that have related content. and that’ s also important.

There are a few more things I like about this unique content submission service. First, all submitted articles must be approved by human editors. So it takes a little more than 24 hours on average for article approval. This is really important because it keeps spammers from filling these blogs and directories with junk, low-quality articles.

The whole Google Panda update, or as some call it, the Google Farmer update, was all about penalizing article directories, blogs and Web 2.0 properties that had allowed low-quality or duplicate content onto their sites. So the human editors saved Unique Article Wizard’s network from suffering the same fate.

The last thing I want to emphasize about UAW is that they have controlled submissions so you can limit submissions to 50 per day. This keeps Google from seeing you getting hundreds of links at once which looks wholly unnatural. You can also schedule your submission by the date so you can coordinate with other backlinking strategy tools you are using in your marketing campaign.

That’s a lot of positives. Now let’s look at what I don’t like.

What I don’t like about Unique Article Wizard…

First, I don’t like their interface. It’s complex (as it must be to be as effective as it is.) It takes using it 2 or 4 times before you get the hang of it. Luckily, they’ve installed video tutorials that walk you step by step through the process. Once you get the hang of it, you should use their one-step wizard, it’s much faster than their easy wizard.

I’m also not happy that it’s one of the most expensive of the article submission services. Admittedly, at $69 per month, it’s a lot cheaper than Text Links or Linkvana, but hey, the site is called Cheap SEO not “Throw Money at It Marketing.” However, I have to admit that you are definitely getting one amazing amount of quality links for what’s actually a pretty reasonable monthly fee. But it’s only reasonable if you use it. This is a serous backlinking strategy tool. If you aren’t going to use it diligently to make money, don’t invest in it.

A Few Final Points…

On average, depending on the categories you choose (you can choose 3 categories from 3 different category lists), you should expect to get anywhere from 300 to 700 submissions. Since Unique Article Wizard allows you two anchor text links within the body of your article and two in the author box, you are potentially looking at up to 2800 links from one article marketing campaign.

However, some article directories will reject articles with links anywhere but the aurthor box. Also, you should make certain that your links don’t all go to the same site or page. Maybe have one go to your home page, one to a specific product page, one to a Web 2.o property such as a Squidoo lens, and one to a social media site like Twitter.

Do I Recommend This Article Marketing Tool…

Yes I do. If you’re serious about article marketing, Unique Article Wizard is definately the submission tool to use. Oh, and one last point. Unique Article Wizard expects you to submit 3 versions of each article with the same number of paragraphs. I use The Best Spinner to spin my articles into 3 quick versions and submit them together.
