WordPress Plugins SEO – SEOPressor Review

a
SEOPressor SEO plugins for WordPress image 300x211 WordPress Plugins SEO SEOPressor ReviewSEOPressor is a relatively new WordPress plugins SEO tool I recently came across exclusively designed to search engine optimize WordPress websites or blogs. It was cheap enough at $47 that I just went ahead and bought it so I could give it a try. ($47 is for a single blog. For unlimited blogs it’s $97)
a

My WordsmithBob website is the only website I own that doesn’t run on WordPress. Basically because when I first designed it on Dreamweaver, WordPress didn’t exist. However, every website I’ve created since then has been built with WordPress for the obvious advantages. (It doesn’t hurt that my wife is a WordPress website designer).
a
Anyway, I’ve given this WordPress SEO plugin a try and while it’s not as complete as professional SEO tools like Raven SEO Tools or WebCEO, it does a credible job of telling you what to do to your content pages and blog posts and how to SEO WordPress sites or blogs to get excellent standings in the search engines.
a

Here’s a run-down of what SEOPressor does:

a
  • Analyses Title, H1, H2 and H3 Tags
  • Analyses Keyword Density and Content Length
  • Analyses the Exact Placement of Your Keyword
  • Analyses Images and Links
  • Analyses Font Decorations
  • Bold, Italicize and Underline Your Keywords
  • Add ALT Tag to Your Images
  • Tests and Rates Each Post and Page
  • Calculates SEO Score For Each Page
  • Recalculates and Assigns SEO Scores When Post Changes
  • Content Management With SEO Scores Beside Your Posts
  • Suggests What To Tweak
  • Comes With Secret Algorithm That Correlates With Google
a

I had to laugh when I read that last one. I mean, let’s get real. I do SEO for clients for a living and I know for a fact that no one knows what Google’s algorithms are. Although I’ve heard it said that what they meant by that is that SEOPressor analyzes your top placing competitors and uses that info to make SEO suggestions.

If that’s what it does, then I’m impressed. Because that’s exactly how I figure out how to SEO my clients.
a

How it works

a
I honestly don’t know how it works. I can tell you this. Everything it does, I can do manually. The big difference is, it saves me a lot of time because it basically does the same thing I do for clients but saves me a lot of time and trouble. And since it’s integrated into your WordPress blog, it automatically gives you regular blog SEO tips.
a
I use it now for all my WordPress websites. It was worth it for the time savings. And I’ll admit, it caught some things I had missed that probably would have hurt my rankings in the search engines.
a

Recommendations

a
I don’t recommend you let it go hog wild with the bold, italicize and underline keywords thing. Google knows that ploy so only let it do it once and that’s it. Other than that, it seems to be pretty smart and gives you good advice.
a
For the price, unless you’re a professional SEO expert like me or have access to one, you can’t beat it. And I use it just because it’s paid for itself many times over with the time it’s saved me doing SEO on my pages and posts (and the SEO mistakes it’s caught).
a
For those reasons, I recommend SEOPressor. After you download it and use it, let me know how it’s worked for you.

Being an avid advocate of SEO techniques I love keeping a watch for any new tools that help to speed up the process and make it easier for website owners to optimize their websites without having to pay a fortune to outsource. I have to say that there are a handful of plug-ins I consider to be ESSENTIAL to WordPress users, and SEOPressor has just made that list. Excellent job and I highly recommend this plug-in to WordPress users.
